Can Hopkins Leveling Kit HM0820K Be Used to Raise Front Of Vehicle for Loading Trike in Van
Question:
I haul a Goldwing Motocycle trike in a Ram Promaster van, I have a ramp system the allows me to drive up the ramp to load and down the ramp to unload. I do have a floorboard on the trike which makes the road clearance about 3.5 inches, When the front wheel enters the van I have a problem where the floorboard may not clear and gets stuck going in or out of the van, Instead of using this to level the van I would like to use it to make sure the front wheels are higher than the back wheels which would the floor in back to eliminate getting stuck. Does the electronic guage that shows level or not level come with the package?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Hopkins Level Kit part # HM0820K that you referenced would be a great solution to prevent your trike from "high-centering" as it gets loaded into Promaster van. The level guage does come with the kit as well.
