Will the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs # AL57395 Fit a 2016 Ford F-350 Super Duty DRW

Question:

I haven't made a decision yet on this as I was also looking at summo springs for the rear of my truck but couldn't find any info. For a dual rear wheel.

The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs # AL57395 that you referenced are compatible with a 2WD 2016 Ford F-350 Super Duty even if it has DRW. If your F-350 is a 4WD then you need part # AL57396 instead. It has the same 5,000 weight capacity but a slightly different design to fit the 4WD version.

Please keep in mind that any suspension enhancement system does not increase the weight limit of your F-350. It is designed to work with a working suspension that is in good condition.

I also recommend going with an air compressor system like the Air Lift WirelessAIR # AL74000 that comes with a remote control. An air compressor kit will allow you to fill your air springs wherever you are and eliminates the need to find a compressor.

Some installation videos and instructions have been linked for you to check out.

We do have SumoSprings that fit your F-350. Part # SSR-114-54 has a 2,800 lb weight capacity and part # SSR-115-47-2 has a 5,000 lb weight capacity for heavy duty applications. Just like an air bag system these will not increase the weight capacity of your F-350. The benefit of using SumoSprings over an air bag system is that there is no maintenance that has to be done to keep them in good working order. You simply install them and then forget about them. The drawback to using the SumoSprings is that since they replace your bump stops they will make your ride more rigid when you do not have a load in the bed of your F-350. If you plan to constantly have a load in the bed of your pickup then the SumoSprings are a great option, otherwise I recommend installing the air helper springs so that you can adjust their pressure to accommodate an empty bed.
