I am adding a auxiliary battery to my trailer where do I connect the solenoid pole to my ignition

To install a battery isolation solenoid like # PK5231201 you will want to tap into one of the ignition-controlled circuits, such as that for a power antenna, by using a fuse tap kit # F2526. This allows you to access the ignition key activation signal which will be routed to the center pole on the solenoid. The solenoid will close (and pass power) when the center pole has that ignition-controlled signal.
