In order to install the Tekonsha P3 Brake Controller # 90195 on your 2003 Dodge Ram with factory tow package you will need the vehicle specific wiring harness, # 3020-P. One end of the wiring harness plugs into the back of the brake controller. The other end connects to the factory harness on the truck.
The harness on your truck will be located underneath the dash and left of the steering column, taped to another harness near the emergency brake pedal. I have included links to the brake controller and wiring harness instructions for you to view.
