Roof Rack Recommendation for 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk  

Question:

I have a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk with a factory installed flush mount rails that are black. From reading other expert answers, Ive learned that this means my vehicle is with the E group package. Is this not just a color difference? Why are my rack options so limited because I have black rails?

The E Group package for your 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee means that on top of the black rails on the roof of your vehicle is a metal strip. Since yours are all black that would mean you do not have the E Group package.

Your configuration isn't quite as popular so there aren't quite as many options for a roof rack but there is still the very nice Thule option that consists of the Aeroblade option part numbers # TH711520, # TH480R, and # THKIT1656.
