For your 2008 GMC Sierra 2500HD, I recommend Curt's GMC Custom Kit, part # C16418-204. It is compatible with both the short bed and long bed versions of this truck. This kit uses existing holes and locations on the frame to install and avoids known obstacles in the vehicle's installation location for the fastest install.

This rail kit is compatible with Draw-Tite hitches and uses industry standard rails, so you shouldn't have issues dropping your existing hitch into the new rails.

If you don't already have a wiring solution, I recommend Curt's 5th Wheel Wiring Harness, part # C56000. This plugs in line with your factory 7-way into your truck bed for easy connection of the 5th Wheel wiring harness.
