7-Way Trailer Connector to 7-Way Trailer Connector Coiled Adapter
Question:
Could you tell me if this 3-foot connector has the 7th wire going all the way to the 6 pin connector I need a pigtail this length but I need a 7 by 7 and I can put a different end on the 6-pin if 7th wire goes that far

Expert Reply:
No, the 7-Way wire does not go from the 7-Way to the 6-Way on the Hopkins Heavy-Duty, Coiled Trailer Connector Adapter # HM47085. What I recommend is using # WG54006-043 which is a bit longer at 6 feet but it does have all 7-Way wires running all the way through and it is ready for a 7-Way connector. For a trailer side 7-Way use # A7WCB. For a vehicle side 7-Way use # A10-7082VP.
