Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation for 2018 Ford F-250 Short Bed with Hitch Prep Package

Hi. I have a Ford F250 4x4 Crew Cab with a short bed and the factory 5th wheel prep kit. Which 5th wheel hitches do you recommend that would fit this truck and its configuration? I am mostly interested in a sliding hitch. Thanks very much!!

The hitch I recommend for your 2018 Ford F-250 is the Demco Hijacker Autoslide for Ford Hitch Prep Package part # DM8550024. This hitch is a slider like your short bed truck needs for turning clearance but what I really like about it is that it automatically slides as you make tight turns.
This eliminates you having to remember to get out and activate the slider whenever you get to parking lot as it does the job for you automatically.
