Solution for Completing 12 Volt Power Circuit for Trailer Wiring in GM Truck
Question:
I have a 40 amp fuse in and I also have the red wire connected to the fuse box on post what Im still not getting any auxiliary power what should I do

Sounds like you have a mid 2000's GM truck and you're trying to install a brake and activate the 12 volt power source.
You still need to insert a 40 amp fuse in the correct slot in the power distribution box to complete the circuit. Check out the help article I attached below for more info on this as well.
