How to Power Interior Trailer Light While Trailer is Unconnected from Tow Vehicle

Hi I have a dog trailer with a built in light and while im towing i can have the light on inside for the dogs. What i want to know is when the trailer isnt attached to the vehicle is there any way i can connect the battery plug to a battery to have the interior light going still?

There really isn't a way for you to power the interior light in your dog trailer with the trailer unconnected from the tow vehicle unless you were to install an auxiliary battery in the trailer. If you were to install an auxiliary battery you would also need a battery charger to keep the battery charged like NOCO Genius Battery Charger and Maintainer # 329-GENIUS5.
The best and most cost effective solution for you would be to install a battery powered light inside the trailer like part # NM-MOTION-011. This light can be motion activated or used with the on/off switch. It takes 3 AA battery which are not included and comes with a 1-year warranty.
