We do have a trailer hitch that will allow you to carry the Thule Camber 2 Bike Rack # TH9058 with your 2018 Volkswagen Passat.
The Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24880 is a Class I hitch with a 1-1/4" receiver. Since the Roadway is compatible with both 1-1/4" and 2" hitch receivers you will be able to use it with this hitch. I have attached an installation video on a 2015 Volkswagen Passat for you to reference.
Please note that the Roadway bike rack does not come with locks. To lock the bike rack to the trailer hitch you need the Snug Tite Hitch Lock # THSTL2 and to lock your bike to the bike rack you need a cable lock like part # e98891.
If you have any bikes with an alternative frame that don't have a horizontal cross tube like a traditional men's bike then you also need an adapter bar like the Kuat Ubar Bike Frame Adapter Bar # UB01 to help hold your bike(s) level and increase ground clearance.
