Recommended Sidewinder Pin Box for 2011 Ford F-150 with 5.5 Foot Bed and 5th Wheel Trailer
Question:
I have a 2011 f150 supercrew with a 5.5 bed. My trailer is a 2006 crossroads cruiser. That is 102inch wide. I currently have a pullrite superglide 2700 hitch. I have not mounted it to my truck yet because I dont think its the right hitch for my truck trailer combo. The pin box number on my trailer is lippa 1621. My question is what parts do I need to put on my truck and or trailer so I call safely pull my camper?

For your 2011 Ford F-150 Super Crew with 5.5 foot bed, the sliding hitch you currently have will not work. Due to the bed size, you need to use a fixed hitch and a Sidewinder to get the turning clearance you need.
If you don't have base rails, I recommend you start with the Reese Quick-Install Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP50081-58. Then you will need a fixed mount hitch versus a sliding hitch. I recommend the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Wiring Harness - Dual Jaw - 22,000 lbs # RP30033 because of the grip it will have on your king pin and the function with a Sidewinder using the custom wedge # SWW-03.
For your king pin replacement, the Sidewinder 5th Wheel King Pin with Rotating Turret - 16,000 lbs # RP34FR or the Air Ride version # RP61422 is the correct fit for your trailer. Either one will move the pivot location for your trailer back 22 inches to allow you the turning clearance you need for your short bed truck. I've attached a couple articles and videos to assist.
