Is Fascia Trimming Required to Install Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2008 Honda Element SC

part #c11699 for 2008 Honda Element SC states fascia trimming required, but there is no where in the installation that explains this. What does this require? Thanks.

There is no fascia trimming required for the SC model of the 2008 Honda Element when you install the Draw-Tite trailer hitch receiver # 75659.
