Weight Capacity for the Timbren Vehicle Suspension for the 2011 Ford E Series Van
Question:
You list air bags for my Ford van as 3600 pounds of load,. Is it 3600 pounds per each bag or 3600 pounds total for both of them ?

Expert Reply:
The capacity of the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System, # TFER35092B, for Ford E series vans is 3600 pounds total.
Suspension enhancement is designed to help your existing suspension handle the loads you require of it, but does not increase the vehicle weight carrying capacity. We have an informative article on the Timbren systems that may be helpful in making your decision.
I have a set of rubber springs on my truck and they work great, especially when towing a trailer, and do not affect the unloaded ride any considerable amount.
