Will Installing Curt Trailer Hitch C12036 Reduce Ground Clearance on a 2007 Ford Edge

I have a Ford Edge 2007 Will installing this hitch reduce the ground clearance? Thanks.

With Curt trailer hitch # C12036 installed on your 2007 Ford Edge there may be a slight decrease in ground clearance but only marginally so. Take a look at the picture I have included that shows a side view level with the receiver. You can see that it is pretty much at the same level as the exhaust pipes. I have also included a link to a video showing an example installation of this hitch for you.
