Is There a Wiring Harness That Fits 2012 BMW X5?

Hi, I have a 2012 bmw x5 and want to buy a towing wire harness so i can tow my popup camper. Is there any for my SUV? Will i need to bring in the dealer to program for the harness after instlled to work? Thanks

There is a wiring harness available for your 2012 BMW X5 that will allow you to tow your popup camper. The ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness # 119250KIT will install in your SUV via clamps and a module that connects to your car battery to get power. This will not require you to go to your dealer for any type of programming and is a straightforward install. I recommend using mounting bracket # 18144 to keep the 4-way in place as you tow.

I also recommend checking out Ball Mount Kit # 989900, which may fulfill your towing needs in one tidy package; two ball mounts - one with a 3/4” rise or 2” drop and the other with a 2-3/4” rise or 4” drop - a 1-7/8” hitch ball, a 2” hitch ball, and a pin and clip.
