Four Pole Trailer Light Kit for a 2002 Toyota Solara

Hi. What exact wiring harness do I need for my 2002 Toyota Solara 4cyl ? I am going to purchase a hitch and will need to install trailer wiring harness as well.

I recommend Curt's powered tail light converter kit, part # C59236 for your 2002 Toyota Solara. This kit installs quickly and relatively easily to the wiring that exists in your vehicle (There is some splicing involved), and includes a powered converter that connects to the battery to help your vehicle manage the power needs of the trailer.

I've included a video install of this kit onto a 2011 Audi A4 so you can get an idea of the installation process for this kit.

If you haven't picked a hitch already, I recommend Draw-Tite's Custom Fit Class II, part # 36336. This kit bolts into the rear frame of your vehicle and adds a 1-1/4 hitch for a variety of accessories and purposes.
