Where Should Ground from 7-Way Connector be Installed
Question:
Connected everything except the white ground wire coming from the 7 point trailer wiring. Can’t find a video or instructions where to connect it. One of your videos says to save the wire to later connect to the brake controller , but that’s it. Where does this wire connect to? The brake controller doesn’t have a connection to support it.

You will simply want to connect your Ground wire to a clean, bare-metal surface on your vehicle.
This can be done with a ring terminal like part # DW05740-1, which has a 1/4" ID, or part # DW05741-1, which has a 3/8" ID.
i have attached a video of our Universal Installation Kit # ETBC7 being installed on a 2012 Ford Van where you can see this being done at the 2:00 mark.
