Wet Equalizer Bolt With Grease Fitting # 126B2 Recommendation to Prevent Premature Suspension Wear
Question:
Im replacing the shackle bolts, straps, bushings, and equalizer on my 5th wheel camper. Should I apply any lubricant to the bolts? If so, what type? Ive heard concern that grease may attract dirt and cause rapid wear, so Im not sure what to do.

It is recommended that you lubricate the shackle bolts regularly. I would recommend you get a Wet Equalizer Bolt like part # 126B2. This bolt has a grease zerk fitting that would allow you to keep fresh grease on the bolt preventing dirt from accumulating causing premature wear.
