Best Timbren Suspension Enhancement System for a 2017 Ford F-250 with Truck Bed Camper

Question:

I have a 3000 lb. slide in camper to load on to the F250. Do you have a recommendation on which SES to go with. My understanding is the FR250SDJ 7 1/2inch or the FRTT350J 6 9/16 will fit. I have 8inch of gap between frame and axle plate. I think the FR350J has a severe service kit component. With size difference will the truck squat 1inch or so more with the 350J before it engages? Can I purchase another spacer for the 350 if you think that is the right one. It looks like the 250SDJ would fit perfect right out of the box unless 1/2inch is to tight. Thanks for your help.

Helpful Expert Reply:

I spoke to my contact at Timbren and they stated that the Timbren Suspension Enhancement System part # TFRTT350J is actually designed for service trucks or in your case trucks with a truck bed camper. Therefore, this will be the perfect kit for your 2017 Ford F-250.

I also informed them that you currently have 8" of space between your frame and axle plate to which they stated that would give you a distance of 1-1/4" between the bottom of the spring and top of the contact point on your truck which is the ideal distance for Timbren springs. You will not need to add any additional spacers. I have attached a review video of the above kit for you as well.
