Best Fixed Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation for 2018 Chevy Silverado 3500 Factory Rail Kit

Question:

So, I contacted GM direct through my sales rep at the dealership I am buying my truck from. The GM prep package Z6A is the same for both the short bed 66 and the long bed 8. I also confirmed that with the Curt manufactures. Curt has indicated that the Leg kit part #16025 will fit in both the short bed and the long bed GM trucks. Also, the BandW 3700 will fit in the short bed same as it will fit in the long bed. The concern is the clearance with the fifth wheel when turning. Since the orbital pin box addresses the concern of clearance with the short bed truck that is not an issue. So, my original question had to do with which hitches would work with the Orbital Pin box from MoRyde. I have since found out from Both BandW and Curt that the model 3700 from BandW as well as the A series hitches from Curt will work with the pivotal pin boxes like the Orbital made by MoRyde. So, now the only question I have left is rather the Curt or the BandW are the better hitch. What are the advantages and disadvantages of the two.

B and W Companion hitches are considered by most of the RV industry to be the nicest fifth wheel hitch you can get. They are made in the US, they are very reliable, they last forever, and they provide a very solid king pin to hitch jaw contact.

Curt hitches aren't terrible by any means, but if we are going to hear back from a customer on fifth wheel hitch issues it's most likely going to be a Curt hitch. Their jaw system doesn't seem as solid as the Companion and their hitch heads used to get chewed up pretty easily. If you are looking for the best fixed fifth wheel hitch for a 2018 Chevy Silverado 3500's factory fifth wheel rail kit the # BWRVK3700 is the best option.
