Are Roller Bunks Better Than Bunks Boards on a Boat Trailer
Question:
I know a lot of people have boards, but aren't rollers better?

Yes, roller bunks are much better to use because they allow your boat to become a rolling load which means less resistance for your winch. The reason you see a lot of bunk boards on boat trailers is because they have been the standard for a long time and they still work just fine.
We do have roller bunks that are the same length as the 4' CE Smith Carpeted Bunk Boards # CE27810 that you referenced. These can be found on our site listed as part # DL21740.
These are constructed of 12 gauge pre-galvanized steel which will be great for resisting corrosion and rust due to the exposure of water. The bunks have a weight capacity of 2,500 lbs combined so you will just need to make sure that your boat is under that weight limit.
