Is Loc Tite Needed When Installing Curt Hitch # C13146 on a 2017 Honda Pilot

When installing the curt c13146 hitch on the 2017 Honda Pilot do you need to use loctite on the bolts Or is torqueing all that’s needed Thanks

You do not need to use Loc Tite when you install the Curt hitch part # C13146 on your 2017 Honda Pilot. Just torquing the hardware would be all that's needed. The bolts actually stretch when they are tightened and in doing act as a "lock nut" to prevent them from backing out.
