Why Cant Lippert 1621HD Pin Box be Swapped Out for Short Pin Box

I currently have a Lippert 5th Airborne 1621HD on my 20k lb fifth wheel. I would like to go to a short pin box but do not see one available with the same dimensions as my 1621HD. Do you have one available?

The different styles of pin boxes like telescoping, medium, long, short etc. are listed as a way for you to identify what you currently have. You cannot swap out one style of pin box for another as it does not work like that unfortunately.
If you want to see all of the pin boxes we offer that fit as a replacement for your Lippert 1621HD check out the link I attached below. The most popular is the Sidewinder part # RP34FR which moves the pivot point back and allows short bed trucks to not need a slider hitch.
