Can Reese 20K 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Fit into Industry Standard Base Rails in 2012 Ford F-350  

Question:

I purchased a Ford f350 that has two universal mounting brackets in the back would I be able to use a reese 20k or greater 5th wheel or would I have to upgrade the brackets?

It sounds like the truck you purchased has industry standard rails (ISR) for a fifth wheel hitch already in the bed. If this is the case then you can install any fifth wheel hitch that fits into ISRs.

The 20k Reese , part # RP30928, is a great example that fits ISRs. This is the fixed hitch for a long bed truck or if your trailer has a Sidewinder or Revolution pin box. If you have a short bed and a standard pin box instead use the slider, part # RP30075.

If you want to add a 7-way in the truck's bed to make it easier to hook up you can use part # 50-97-410.
