4- and 7-Way Trailer Connector for 2003 Ford Super Duty with Square Factory Connectors
Question:
Your picture of vehicle side harness does not look the same.
asked by: Sean C
Expert Reply:
The early 2000s Ford trucks could have either a round connector that plugs into the trailer connector or a square one. Yours is the square one which means # 74682 will not fit. Since there isn't a 7- and 4-Way with the square connectors what you can do is use just the wiring harness from # 40167 with connector # HM40975 to provide both a 4- and 7-Way at the back of your truck.
