Hitch and Wiring Harness for 2012 Ford Escape

Expert Reply:
Curt Class III hitch # 13650 is a confirmed fit on the 2012 Ford Escape, both gas and hybrid models, so long as it does not already have a factory-installed hitch. This hitch comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
For a 4-pole wiring harness for the Escape with the factory tow package use part # 118251 if you do NOT have the backup sensors. Models WITH backup sensors can use # 118551. The wiring harnesses have a 1-year warranty.
For a ball mount for towing you can use recommended Curt part # C45030 along with 2-inch hitch ball # 63845 or 2-5/16-inch ball # 63847.
