7-Way, Junction Box and LED Light Kit for Boat Trailer
Question:
Epicord 7-Way Molded Trailer Plug with Junction Box - 10 Long Item # 277-000141 I have a 40 aluminum boat trailer. My boat is 10 wide. My lights are failing and I will need to replace them this season. I would like to go with LED. I currently use a 7 way plug and have an electric solenoid release for my surge/disc. Will this unit work? and.... What kit do you recommend? Thank you,

The Epicord 7-Way Molded Trailer Plug with Junction Box # 277-000141 will be a great start for rewiring your trailer. Basically you'd mount the junction box close enough to the front of the trailer that the 7-way reaches the tow vehicle and then you'd wire up all your trailer functions/lights to the box and you'd be good.
The part # TL36RK is an LED, waterproof light kit designed for trailers that are over 80 inches in width like what you have. You can use the included 4-way wiring for the lighting and then use 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 (sold by the foot) for the brake wiring.
