Recommended Vent with Fan Assembly to Replace AC Unit on Stationary Trailer
Question:
I want to remove the air conditioner to our stationary trailer, and would like to replace it with a vent/fan unit. All the vents I can find are 14x14. My opening measures 16x16. Are there any vents available in this size?

Most all of our available vent assemblies are designed to fit a standard 14 inch x 14 inch opening.
For example, the excellent MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan # MA00-07500K is designed for a 14 inch x 14 inch opening but its overall dimensions are 22-1/2 inches long, 16-1/2 inches wide, and 5 inches tall. Its actual mounting flange dimensions are 16-1/2 inches wide and 16-1/2 inches long. If this is the measurement you took on your existing unit, then this may work as a replacement.
This is a really nice roof vent with fan and thermostat that will do a great job of moving air in and out of your trailer. The integrated rain shield prevents rainwater from entering the trailer while still allowing you to open the vent and operate the fan in any weather.
I have attached a short video demonstration on this product that you can also take a look at.
