What is Used to Attach Brophy Hitch Extender # hes6 to a Trailer Hitch
Question:
what do you use to attach the hitch extender. I recently purchased one and it did not come with an item to attach it

Expert Reply:
The Brophy Hitch Extender, part # hes6 will attach to your 1-1/4 inch hitch with a 1/2 inch diameter hitch pin like the Draw-Tite Pin and Clip, part # PC2.
I would also recommend the Deadbolt Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock, part # 7682 and to help keep the assembly quiet the Curt Trailer Hitch Anti-Rattle Kit, part # F-315.
Remember, when using a hitch extender your towing capacity and tongue weight capacity will be reduced by 50 per cent.
