Magnetic Switch Compatibility with Cabinet Door and Lights
Question:
Can this magnetic switch be used to operate lights instead of steps? Im wanting to install led strip lighting in my cuboards in my fifth wheel and have them turn on when I open the cupboard door.

The Lippert Components Kwikee Step Switch Magnet # LC369299 would allow you to use as a light switch for your cupboards. This is a normally open circuit that completes the circuit when the door magnet is closed. There isn't a positive or negative designation so you don't need to worry about which wire does what.
