You can definitely use 10 Gauge Wire, like part # 10-1-1, to connect your 24V batteries in parallel, however, I do have a simpler solution for you.
We offer battery cables like the Red 7" Long Deka # DW04362 or the Black 14" Long Deka # DW04365 that you can use for connecting your batteries. They are both constructed of 2/0 gauge PVC starter cable and have overmolding to protect your wiring. They fit Group 31, 3/8" stud-type batteries.
These provide an easy way to connect your batteries that keep you from having to construct your own wiring connections.
