Comparing Stromberg Carlson Landing Gear Kits LG-1 and LG-3 For 2007 Cherokee Fifth Wheel
Question:
Hi, I need to replace the landing gear on my 2007 Cherokee 285b+ fifth wheel. The lead landing gear is stripped inside and I figured I might as well replace the whole set. I am trying to decide if I should go with the LG-1 or the LG-3. I would also like to put the spring loaded pins on at the same time, I believe they are part # LG119113. In the future we had thought about the Power Stabilizer Trailer Jack also. Thanks Matt

I would go with the # LG-3 as it has a higher capacity at 6,500 lbs which means it will move a bit quicker and have to work less hard which means it will last longer.
The # LG-1 has a lower capacity at 5,500 lbs works great for a lot of people, but the # LG-3 is the better choice.
