How to Tow a 5th Wheel Trailer with a B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch on a 2012 Ford F-250
Question:
I have a 2012 F250 with a 69inch box. There is an existing BandW gooseneck hitch installed already and I want to find a gooseneck to 5th wheel adaptor. I have an existing Reese Pro 20K 5th wheel hitch from my prior truck that I would like to use and I see that Curt has an adaptor that should work where I set my Reese right on top of it. If I want to convert to a slide hitch is there a Reese slide that I can by seperate and still use my existing Reese head? Is there an economical goose neck to 5th wheel slide adaptor?

I have exactly what you will need to tow a 5th wheel trailer with the B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch you already on your 2012 Ford F-250. In order to do this you will indeed need the adapter you were referring to which is the Curt X5 5th Wheel Base Rails Adapter part # 16310. Then since you have a short bed, you will need to use the Reese Square Tube Slider part # RP30048 or Reese Round Tube Slider # RP50024 with your existing hitch head assuming it was made after 2009.
The best option to tow a 5th wheel trailer with your existing B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch would be to use the B&W Companion Slider part # BWRVK3400. The Companion Slider will not be as economically priced as the above option but will not require the use of an adapter as it is specifically made to be used with the B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch.
I have attached a review video of the adapter and Companion for you as well.
