Can CTEK 7002 12V Battery Charger Be Left Connected for 2-1/2 Months
Question:
I just connected a ctek 7002 on my 2015 Lexus gs 350 F sport. Is it safe to leave it on for the next 2.5 month? The is sitting in my double heated garage, an also can I put a cover on my car? Thanks

Yes, you can absolutely connect the CTEK MULTI US 7002 12V Universal Battery Charger # CTEK56353 to your Lexus and leave it on for 2-1/2 months. Once the charging mode switches to maintenance charging, the battery will receive a pulse from the charger only when the voltage sinks. This will keep the battery in good shape while in storage and it can be left connected for months at a time.
You will not have an issue with the car being under a cover and inside your garage. I just recommend making sure that the area around the car, charger and outlet is clear and that the outlet and battery terminals are clean and free of corrosion.
