The factory tow package included the trailer hitch, wiring harness although not fully connected, and engine oil cooler. All automatic Escape models have a transmission cooler as well.

If you want to add a piece by piece towing ability, I recommend starting with the Draw-Tite Max-Frame 2" trailer hitch # 75118. Then add the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118343 which plugs into your factory wiring connections behind your tail lights. You will also want the wiring mounting bracket # 18144 and Curt No-Drill Bracket # C57202.

Then for a ball mount I recommend the etrailer.com Ball Mount Kit for 2" Hitches # 989900. This will give you options to tow your trailer level. The kit comes with two draw bars of different sizes as well as two hitch balls, one 1-7/8 inch diameter and one 2 inch diameter ball. It also comes with the pin and clip as well as a storage bag. I've attached an article to assist.

For an oil cooler, I recommend the Derale Plate-Fin Engine Oil Cooler Kit w/ Adjustable Sandwich Adapter (Multiple Threads) - Class V # D15405. This will put the cooler between your oil filter and your oil lines from proper cooling function and an easy installation. I've attached the installation details to assist.
