Recommended Best Anti-Rattle Device for 2 Inch Trailer Hitch Receivers
Question:
I have the Darby hitch extender mounted to the front of my truck to haul my canoe over the hood and cab of the truck. I have straps from rack angling to the front bumper, but I still have some side to side play. So, started looking at hitch tighteners. It looks to me the best would be the blue ox. seems to be more expensive than other choices, but Im requesting your best choice to consider. thanks

For the best hitch anti-rattle device for your front mounted hitch, I recommend the Blue Ox Hitch Receiver Immobilizer II - 2" Hitches # BX88224. This anti-rattle device holds the accessory in your hitch stabilizing it in both directions. You have the vertical and horizontal adjustments to ensure the very best fit. Many other devices work well, but only attack the issue in one of the two directions, where this one really does both.
