I would like to know if product # RP50082-58 bracket and rail kit fits a 2017 F 350 short box diesel

I do have a solution for you, but the Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rails and Installation Kit # RP50082-58 is not compatible with your 2017 Ford F-350 Super Duty with a short bed.
The Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rails and Installation Kit that is confirmed to fit your F-350 is part # RP50074-58 on our site.
Please keep in mind that we recommend going with a sliding 5th wheel hitch, like the Reese # RP30083, for a short bed truck to ensure that you have the proper clearance for sharp turns.
If you do not already have a 7-Way in the bed of your F-350 then I also recommend taking a look at the Bargman # 50-97-410-010 which will allow you to connect and disconnect the wiring from your 5th wheel trailer much easier.
