Does Tow Bar Wiring Need Taillight Converter if Tow Vehicle has Separate Lighting Circuits

Question:

I am installing a RM-15267 wiring kit on my 2017 Ford F150 4x4. My tow vehicle 2015 Forest River Legacy RV has separate turn signal and brake lights. My understanding his that since my towed vehicle has a combined brake and turn signal I need to install a RM-732 on the towing vehicle. RV. I am a little unclear on how this is installed. Do I splice into the RV brake and turn signal wires and then connect them to the 7 way terminal? Any help or photos you can send me would be helpful. Thanks.

Since the trailer wiring of your tow vehicle is combined already and that's what the # RM-15267 connects to you would not need to worry about also having to install a signal converter.
