Roof Rack Recommendation for 2013 Dodge Journey R/T  

Question:

I am going to be doing a cross country trip in June from NY to CA and I wanted a roof rack that can be used for snowboards and general traveling needs. I am trying to maximize the space for my belongings on the roof. I did get a sun roof installed on the car and wanted to know if that would have any effect on the type of rack to purchase. Since you wanted to maximize the bar length for your 2013 Dodge Journey the best roof rack option we have would be one that has the longest crossbars like the Thule Aeroblade part numbers # TH711520, # TH480R, and # THKIT1658 which comes with 60 inch crossbars. Your sunroof would not be an issue either.

The Rhino Rack roof rack part numbers # RRVA137B-2, # RRRLKVA, and # DK200 that you referenced is a great bang for your buck roof rack and has 54 inches of crossbar space. This could work too if you are okay with the smaller crossbars.
