AirLift Air Helper Springs Vs Timbren Enhancement System for a 2004 Cadillac Escalade

Question:

I have the airlift 1000 kit and was about to install. Im seeing these Timbren TGMRG25C kit now and wondering if thats an either/or or if its something I would benefit from in conjunction with the airlift setup.

The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System part # TGMRG25C can be installed in conjunction with the AirLift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs part # AL60769 but I do not recommend it. Installing both the Timbren's and AirlIft bags would create an extremely stiff suspension which would be rather bouncy and uncomfortable. Instead, I would stick with the AirLift bags as long as the tongue weight of your trailer does not exceed 1,000 lbs. If the tongue weight of your trailer does exceed 1000 lbs then you will want to consider the Timbren springs.

Generally speaking, the Timbren springs will provide more support but the AirLift bags will retain most of the factory ride quality. I have attached a review video of the Timbren's on a similar vehicle so you can check them out and see how they work.
