Recommendation For A Smoother And Gentler Ride For 2017 Tracker TWX 195 Boat And Trailer
Question:
I have a 2017 Tracker TWX 195 boat and trailer. I am very unhappy with the way the trailer beats my boat to death,I am wondering if there is a bolt on do-it-yourself kit to help with my problem. I have 25 over the road trucks Kenworth and peterbilt with spread axle air ride trailers, I know that I can somehow modify my suspension to allow my boat to take less of a beating while on long distance trips, I currently fish the FLW Bass Fishing western division in the professional division. Please help me with a solution to my problem. BASS PRO where I purchased my boat have not a clue. Can you help me?

I did some research and it sounds like you have a single axle boat trailer. Because of your unique situation, I consulted with some manufacturers about options. If you have a single axle trailer then I do not have any easy solution like shocks because they would be regularly submerged in water. If you have a tandem axle trailer then cushioned equalizers like Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers, Item # LC279687, would work even if submerged in fresh water.
If you are open to making a total change then you could move to a Timbren axle-less suspension system like Item # A35RS545. The Timbren system creates maximum ground clearance, a low deck height, and replaces your existing system. Timbren confirmed that it would work fine even if regularly submerged.
If you send me more details about your boat trailer like its weight capacity and pictures then I can make a more specific recommendation.
