5th Wheel hitch options for your 2016 Ram 2500 diesel will depend on how the truck was equipped from the factory. Page 693 of the online owner's manual notes the 5th wheel towing capacity is 25,000-lbs, plenty for a 16K trailer as well as a good safety margin.

Long bed trucks are generally better for 5th wheel towing and will allow use of a standard fixed type hitch like the superb B&W 25K-rated Companion # BWRVK3600 while short beds will need a slider type hitch like their 20K Companion Slider # BWRVK3670 to have enough turning clearance. Ram trucks also can be equipped with factory 5th wheel prep kits that allow direct installation of a hitch like those noted above. Industry-standard hitches made for above-bed base rails are also available for trucks without the prep package.

You can select your specific truck configuration using the page I linked; you'll then see the hitches and/or installation kits that are suitable for that particular setup.

B&W makes what are often argued to be the very best 5th wheel hitches on the market. They are fabricated entirely in-house at B&W's Kansas factory. Features like beefy 1-inch-thick jaws and fully-pivoting heads provide security and ease of hitching.

If you like you can tell me your bed length and whether you have the factory prep and I can then offer more specific recommendations.
