Does the Wheel Need to Be Removed While Not in Use on the Dutton-Lainson Spare Tire Carrier

Question:

Do you have a picture of how the spare/ dolly would look in action? Looks like you only put the wheel on when you need it

I checked with my contact at Dutton-Lainson and unfortunatly neither they nor we have a photo of the Trailer Spare Tire Carrier and Dolly Bracket by Dutton-Lainson part # DL22144 installed and in use on a trailer at this time. With that being said the carrier/tire does not need to be removed while not in use. The tire can simply be left on the carrier until the time in which it is needed arises.

The above carrier/dolly works with most 8"-12" wheels that have either a 4 or 5 bolt pattern. You can lock the spare tire/wheel to the carrier using the Spare Tire Carrier Lock part # FSTL0603.
