LED Lights to Be Used for Cargo Area of Work Truck
Question:
I have a U Haul small truck I converted to my work truck and it has one light in the cargo box that is not very bright. In order for that to work I have to flip a switch inside the cab. It stays on for 30 minutes and cuts off automatically but when the truck is not running it is draining the battery. Its never run down but I am trying to find a way to put LED lights inside and I also want to install some LED lights on the back of the truck for hooking up trailers at night. I dont mind putting a separate battery in the cargo box if I can somehow get a trickle charger that chargers the extra battery that runs the cargo area lights when the truck is running. Can you given me all my options and your part number so I can order them?

What you are looking to do is very possible, you just need to pick out the LED lights that you want to use and go from there. If you want something that has a switch mounted to it the part # RVILL34 would be a great option. Or if you want to use the lights you already have the # ILL33CB would work well for that.
To trickle charge a battery mounted in the truck for the lights you could easily run some 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 to the positive post from the positive post of the vehicle.
