Does Battery of 2018 Acura MDX Have to Be Disconnected to Install Trailer Wiring
Question:
Does the negative terminal of the battery have to be unhooked before installing Tekonsha #118628 wiring harness on a 2018 Acura MDX? It did not show it being unhooked on your 2016 MDX video. Also please confirm this is the right part number.

Normally it's always a good idea to disconnect the vehicle battery any time you are working on anything electrical, but for the Tekonsha wiring kit part # 118628 there is no mention of disconnecting the battery prior to installing the kit so it would not be needed.
