Is there any trimming required beyond removing the panel under rear compartment?

The Draw Tite hitch part # 75950 that you referenced is a confirmed fit for your 2014 Audi Q7. You will need to trim the lower fascia to be able to install the hitch as well as the styrofoam insert (if present).
