Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2018 Acura TLX A-Spec AWD
Question:
Hello, It appears on the draw-tite hitch for the TLX some cutting is required on the bumper but I cant really tell how its going to look. Do you have any installed photos of this by chance? I hate how ugly the Curt solution is and would like something much more hidden. Any help and or advice would be greatly appreciated. I have a 2018 Acura TLX A-Spec AWD. The bumper is slightly different than the one in your photos too. I have attached a photo of my bumper.

The Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" # 24942 is a confirmed fit for your 2018 Acura TLX A-Spec AWD. The bumper is different than the one in our photo, so I've attached what we have. You bumper will have a better look simply because of the black trim to allow less contrast and a more hidden look. The Curt hitch 11409 has been replaced with the Curt # C11535 which will be far less hidden by design as you stated. Trimming will be required with either option.
If you will be towing with this hitch receiver, I recommend the ball mount # 3593 which comes with a pin and clip. You will then need a hitch ball like # 19258 for a 2 inch diameter or # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch diameter.
For your trailer wiring, I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118697. This harness connects behind your rear tail lights to factory wiring harnesses. Once you've plugged in the T-connector, run the hot lead up to your car battery. Connect the lead to the included fuse holder, and then connect the fuse holder to the positive terminal on your battery and insert the provided fuse.
