Equal-I-Zer Weight Distribution Recommendation for 2018 Mallard M245 Trailer
Question:
WE just Purchased a 2018 Mallard M245 and will be towing with a 2004 Nissan Titan that has a 6 inch lift.. I am looking for advise on Weight/Sway hitches that would work for this set-up. I have found that the Equalizer seem to have good recommendations, I am not sure what weight Options to use with this.

The best way to pick out a weight distribution system is to base it off of the loaded tongue weight of the setup when it is loaded and ready to tow. This figure also includes the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle. I attached a help article on determining tongue weight for you to check out as well. You will want the loaded tongue weight of your setup to fall right in the middle of the tongue weight range of the system you use.
From the research I did on your 2018 Mallard M245 it has a dry tongue weight of right at 600 lbs so for an Equal-i-Zer kit rated well for that the part # EQ37101ET would be ideal as it has a tongue weight range of 600-1,000 lbs.
Then for a drop shank that can do up to 9 inches of drop we have the part # EQ90-02-4400 which would work well since you have a lifted Titan.
