Trailer Tire Recommendation for Size 225/75-15

Question:

I have a 24foot Hallmark that originally had 205 75 15 tires which were totally inadequate. I up grades to 225 75 15 10 ply . Although they hold the weight well, ALL these Chinese tires available now are complete trash. Does anyone make a 16 in x 4.5 5 lug wheel so I can use American made truck tires? Thanks

Expert Reply:

We do not have a wheel that matches the dimensions you listed nor can we recommend you use truck tires on a trailer, but we might have a tire to fit your current 15 inch trailer wheel that would give you some piece of mind.

The part # LHWL304 is the size 225/75-15, is a 10-ply tire, has a 2,830-lb max load at 80 psi, and comes with a 2 year roadside assistance program. If your RV or trailer has a flat tire, call the help line and a technician will come change the flat for you. You can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year from anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico.
